-TT Muzeum - Můstek was closed in 1980 (substituted by metro line A), TT Náměstí Republiky - Národní Třída was closed in 1985 (metro line B).Anonymous píše:http://www.metroweb.cz/tram/navrhyTT.htm
This is the project, I´m really interested in. I think these would be reactivations of old tram routes, which were closed due to the inauguration of the metro, right?
Is the schedule (2009-2011) realistic? Is it already agreed by the town council? I would be very glad, if the tram came back to the heart of Prague.
Do you know any links to historic maps of the Prague tram network? The oldest I know is from 1981 ( http://people.freenet.de/pragstraba/ima ... g_1981.gif).
Was there a tram route between Central Station and Muzeum before metro line A was opened?
Do you know any lists of closes tram routes in Prague?
Are there any plans to close tram lines in Prague (e.g. because of new metro routes)?
Thanks!
-2009-2011 may be technically realistic, but it's more political then technical problem. Town council doesn't resolve it yet. Maybe only TT Muzeum - Vodickova (middle of Vaclavske namesti) will be built.
-There was tram route between Muzeum and Central railway station, closed in 1978, substituted by metro line C. There are some project to build this line again.
-Informations about closed lines are on http://www.prazsketramvaje.cz, but in Czech.
-There are no plans to close tram line. New metro lines will not substitued trams.
